Rhian Elise Pannell was born in the great vintage year of 2000 and her birth is celebrated with the release of the 2000 Shiraz. This wine is without doubt the best Picardy Shiraz to date. It has greater length, finesse, structure and fruit intensity than any of its predecessors. The nose has elements of spice, suggestions of smoky oak and floral characters, with hints of lychee. The palate is tightly structured, yet supple, fruit dominant and extremely long. Once again it is for those who like the best Rhone style wines. Whilst approachable now, this wine will have great longevity.

This wine is still in top condition and will cellar for another 5 years.
